Was thinking about doing this mod when I go in for my tune here pretty soon. I saw one on eBay from z1 but that auction ended and when I contacted them they said there wont be another batch until theres enough demand. Anyone know anywhere that you can get these?

As far as I know z1 is the only one made for our platform. You can always look into running those specific to others cars. As long as they accommodate the sensor in the factory location, etc..........it should work. Just FYI, you must have the car tuned for it to idle and run. This is not a drop in, quick, 5 in pop in and go mod.

 

yeah for sure thats why i wanted to get it right before i went in for my tune. just curious any chance you know what cars our setup is similar to?

 

I think one or two people have used the maf housing out of a lightning.............however, it is 85mm which is very, very much overkill. I would also require some custom intake work and filter.

 

for 40$you can by a weld on MAF adaptor from SpeedForce Racing. Any exhaust shop can weld that onto a piece of 3" pipe for like 10$. So you can have your own 3" maf housing for less than 60$
