^Doesnt PC need to be baked at ~400? Im not sure the plastic parts on the TB would stand up to that.

it did pretty good. I am satisfied with the results.

the mustang dyno we were on was reading a bit low. never been on the dyno, so I don't have another baseline but with my original setup I had hi-flow cats, bassani exhaust and a orsiris tune. then I threw headers and jwt intake on so that threw off my tune. I also cleared learned fuel settings (because I'm going to send this data to uprev) which also probably attributed to the lower number.

first run was about 42 F and 10:30 AM, I put down 222 - 223 HP

I changed out the plenum assembly down to the heads and drove around for a bit. Immediately I noticed the new sound my car made, it sounded like it was sucking air in pretty well and there were new pitches in the sound the engine and the exhaust was making, also seemed louder and any bit of rasp I may have had on cold startup was gone. so this was enough good for me to justify doing it.

second run was 65 F and 2:30 pm, plus it had some heat soak from me driving around and then putting it on the dyno right away.

but it put down a solid 230-231 HP so I was happy. I know my tune is way off since the addition of the intake, plenum assembly, and the headers so I'm expecting a good boost once I send the data to uprev and they fix me up a e-tune.

So, netting a gain of 6-8 on a dyno that reads a bit low would probably be closer to a gain of 10-12 on a dyno that reads higher. Either way, the car feels great and sounds good so it's over all a success.

After I get the tune done, I'll put it back on the same dyno and update the thread.

thanks for you interest

Glad to hear that you are happy with your results and it seems like it's worth while.

How many runs did you do for each test? Also any reason why you unstrapped and drove around after putting the new parts on?

3 pulls per run, I was suprised at how precise my runs were, there wasn't much variation between the 3 each run

yeah because there were like 20 other people dynoing, so it was for sake of time... I didn't know how long it was going to take me to swap the parts because I've never taken off the fuel injectors / lower runners.

Unfortunatly this is not true, you did a baseline dyno with net you 223 and the final dyno number of 230. The only thing a higher reading dyno would do is change that curve higher. Ex. a dynojet would have read approx 240 for you baseline and 248ish. The gains are still going to be the same, the tune will definatly help you optimize your gains, and heat soak defiantly did not help.

I'm sure you leaned out some from that. It'd be good if you had a wideband install for the before/after on those.
