NEWBIE quick question

If I were to spend my money on one thing what would should i get

A. a Z tube
B. a pop charger
C. cold air intake

Also I have an 04 6mt coupe so would 04 350z cold air intake work on it?

I know this is prolly a very newbish question but i want to make sure I make the right choice.

thanks,
Philip

D. A motordyne plenum spacer.

Some of the Z intakes will fit, some won't. Some of them scoop down in the front bumper.

If you really want an intake and like stuff that shiny. Find Martyg35 or do a search for FuRookie SRI.

For our cars, CAI, SRI etc doesn't meant anything. They are all just a cone on a stick.

Welcome to Driver Pomalley....=)

All you really need to begin is a z-tube along with a K&N drop in filter. The spacer (Motordyne) is the best bang for your $ but that can wait until your next mod....Welcome and Good Luck!

Some of the 350z intakes work some don't, i wouldn't take a chance. i for instance have a 350z pop charger and z tube and it works fine, but the air scooper on top of the rad support is now useless.

if you can afford a CAI, i'd just go ahead and get a Plenum Spacer, i personally have a Powerlabs 3/8", it was a great deal got it from mike at czp.
probably the most popular choice is the Motordyne 5/16" or 1/2",

also IMO for your intake choice, i'd just get w/e loses the least amount of power and sounds the best.

D. None of the above! Get a Z-tube, a rev-up airbox (do a search) and either keep the factory air filter in it, or get an OEM style dry flow replacement filter (Amsoil, AEM, HKS makes them). You aren't gonan get any real gains from an aftermarket intake, just noise, bling, and more hot air. This is due to the fact that the factory intake is extremely efficient AND is already a cold air intake. You aren't gonna do any better then that.

If you really want something that will put on smile on your face, get a motordyne plenum spacer.

For your original question: z-tube, rev-up airbox, K&N Filter.

The others you mentioned are just for sound.

^ I would not go with a K&N Filter, they let in 45 times the dirt then a regular paper filter.
