I am in the process of putting together my intake system. Just picked up a Z tube and thinking of adding the Stillen intake/box with it. Anyone know how long this takes to install and can I do it myself easily? Should I run another filter/airbox? Thanks for the help.

Thats a good combo.. I have read that the Pop charger filter should be used as its better than the stillen filter. But retain the stillen airbox

So I am guessing that the two filters are interchangeable? I like the factory look/function of the Stillen box, so i am going with that initially, then switch the filters out later on. I was reading the other thread about rubbing on the A/C hose...is this a problem with the Z Tube/ Stillen airbox combo? Thanks for the info.

Oh nice ride...is that the Stillen airbox? Did you have any spacing issues with the A/C line as I have heard on other threads? Glad to know this was 20 min worth of work.

yes - Stillen and Pop Charger are interchangeable... I use both...

the edge of MAF housing sometimes rubs on the ac line... some do, some dont... there is very little space there, so tolerances of only a few mm can make a difference... just use split rubber hose and you'll be fine.

here's an example... for some reason different configurations (even different angle of MAF sensor) have made the contact point in different places... I've had the ac line hit the end edge too... right now it's only resting on the side - you can see the split hose in this pic:
