HKS Rear Section: Install ?

HKS Rear Section: Install ?

Picked up HKS rear with the '03+ mounting brackets installed on it. How hard/how much damange would it cause to remove them as I have an '04 cuarently and dont need the extra fitting?

I wasn't aware there was a difference! I have an HKS waiting on my front step at home.. I hope I don't have this same problem!

I had the HKS rear section installed for a while on my 06. I had to purchase the 03-04 bracket in order to mount it. I do not think you can use the 05 bracket, just need to reuse your current 03/04 one. It was designed according to the original fitment of the 03-04.

So I would just remove the bracket currently on this?

If you are sure that it is an 05/06 bracket then yes. Remove it and replace it with the one currently holding up your oem muffler.

It is another 03/04 b/c the previous owner had an '05x.

Soak the rubber hanger mounts with WD-40 so you can easily remove them (and re-use them if needed).

If. Idk though, it might be easier to take the one off your car and put the new one up. That was kind of a PITA to install.
