According to Magnaflow, the 14385 has 2.25" inlet and outlets, but my exhaust system is supposed to have 2.5" piping. Am I missing something, or is this the correct fitment???

thanks
11386 is the correct part number. In my picture above, I used the 11386.

The x pipe is actually a muffler (not sure if you knew that...) which replaces the HKS resonators. I install one primarily for the sound improvement. so in that regard, the x pipe did not really improve performance; however the exhaust system as a whole helped quite a bit.

The only gain I felt was in the lower rpm range. But it did reduce the sound, took out the minor rasp I had due to the Megan TP's, and it made it sound a lot deeper. For me, I am glad I spent the $200 for the part and install.

Yes, that is a good price. I had to have mine shipped to Hawaii so it costed me a few extra $$. Also, I didn't have this exhaust paired with ART V2's, but I had my Injen SES Track Edition one with the magnaflow X-pipe and it was nice and deep. My foot was always in the throttle so I could hear the exhaust lol.The ART's do rob a lil of the low end, but the X-pipe gives some of it back I believe.
