Fujita Intake installed

So installed my fujita intake yesterday and wow what a difference in sound.. below 3000 rpms u dont hear much of a difference but after that its growls like a v8. Also has a whistle sound when i get on it which sounds kinda cool.. anyways my next upgrade is definably gonna be the plenum spacer.. For those of you who have an intake installed and then installed the plenum spacer, was there much difference in sound/performance?

Oh are you going to be supprised.... Any intake even the Fujita might on a great day give you 2 to 3 HP along with the sound we all love. Installing the MD spacer puts you in a whole new world by correcting Nissan's design flaw allowing those two front ports to get equal air volume. That's worth no less than 10 HP along the RPM range, you're gonna love it! To complete the cycle you need a quality dual cat-back exhaust like HKS, Stillen or MotorDyne....that where the fun really beings!

Nothing can imitate the sound of a V8.

If you don't mind losing your engine cover and going with something cooler like the 350Z CF cover then go with the 1/2". If you do go with the 5/16", with your engine cover on this mod will be hidden. The 1/2" spacer gives you a few more HP in the upper RPM range but worth it to me....

stay with the 5/16. Although the 1/2 will give you marginally higher peak hp, the 5/16 will perform better over a wider range of the rpm band.
