Ive heard the hks in person i like it... Pro is its clean but for me i found it wasint loud enough ... Wasint too much louder then stock.

 

I'm leaning towards fast intention carbon fiber exhaust. heard great things about tony and his customer service. plus the quality and build is just one of a kind.

 

Funny how the same exhaust can sound completely different to different people. I find my HKS with stock cats to be too loud, I often don't want to get it above 3k RPM in city driving because I find it obnoxious. Does sound nice though when you wind it up merging onto a highway or smething.

 

anyone know how HKS would sound when paired with Berk HFC?

Both sound great, but after driving around with a stupid loud exhaust for over a year (Injen SES Track Edition) I think something like the FI is a better choice. Sounds, great, louder than stock, but not too loud.

Here's the ride along video I made for the Fast Intentions Carbon catback. The camera was strapped to the rear license plate frame. It was a little windy that day, but this will give you an idea of the exhaust note under load and normal driving conditions, be it a light load, topping out at around 4000 rpms. To echo the sentiment, the FI exhaust is awesome quality. I ended up selling it because of the cabin drone (my wife really didn't like it). Tony (of Fast Intentions) considers this their loudest system. It wasn't really loud to me, it was more the resonance of the exhaust note in the cabin that got to me.

Both HKS and FI are sick. I have the carbon fiber and love the sound. Not too loud not quiet either. Little drone in cabin tho. I've heard the HKS with test pipes in person. It's louder than FI but sound sick too and no drone in cabin.
