Fast Intentions VS HKS Hi-Po
I've been all over google looking for opinions, and the stuff I've found is from like 2006 and 2007. Im sure since then, more people have purchased either of these two exhausts. Anyone care to chime in?? Not really interested in gains, since NA gains won't make too big of a difference, but I'm more interested in sound (deepness loudness etcetc) Thanks

Youtube vids only gives you a rough idea how they sound like. Can't really count on them. From what I've found, HKS Hi-Power looks the best(no doubt) and drone-free. But Fast Intentions CF sounded better for me. It's deeper and get this sexy high pitch sound at WOT. Not as loud as HKS which is the best for DD.
But then again, I found another great catback system that stands in between. That is MD Nova. It sounds close to FI CF, but looks better IMO due to its Ti tips. And MD products never let us down. Tony is such a great guy. I am actually going to get the Nova instead. But it's just me...
Here are some good quality vids for the 3 catback systems hope it helps...

Being one of the few people that have had both systems, I can tell you that you can't go wrong with either one. I loved my HKS system. It looked awesome and the sound is so exotic. It's definitely louder than the FI exhaust. If I was still NA, I would still have HKS. When I joined the darkside and got my Vortech SC, I switched to the Fast Intentions exhaust. The piping is bigger than HKS and the tone is deeper. It's like stock just a bit louder and deeper. It's not as flashy as HKS but having forced induction in Cali, I don't need the extra attention so the Fast Intentions exhaust is perfect for my current setup. But like I said, you can't go wrong with either one.

I just got a FI Carbon and put 200 miles on it. But, the cabin drone is really getting to me. I'm researching HKS and may make a switch. I'm really interested in learning about the HKS and its droning tendencies. Can HKS (and FI) owners chime in on the drone?
