That how I felt when I first started researching. You'll spend days reading some great info here. Let me save you some time. None of them will will make you faster in the least bit. Some may even make you a tiny bit slower. Just get the one that sounds the best to you.

 

Get the one that says Stillen on it.

 

Yeah I"m not expecting any hp gain, but I don't wanna lose any either. I simply want my car to sound slightly more beastly. I loooove the stock sound, it's just too quiet.

 

Yeah, most of the aftermarket intakes sound sweet! But you are more likely to lose a tiny bit of power on hot days and gain a ton of great sound. It's worth it for most people looking for an more aggressive note. Nothing beats the stock box in performance.

One popular option is to go with a z tube and a drop in K&N filter which will give you no losses and a nice growl.

 

does the popcharger make the stock sound much louder? i cant find any sound clips of it

I'm surprised you're still running a popcharger. It was hot stuff back in the day but nowadays it's really fallen out of favor with the crowd here. I'd still run one though, but I got something else now.

 

but is it like the stock sound loud? or an altered sound loud?
i'm very peculiar. I've heard some Gs and Zs that have a stock sound but loud as ****. I'm determined to find exactly what I want.

 

I have the R2C and really like it. Huge efficient filter, sounds great, and seals against the hood to help prevent heat soak. Costs about the same as the pop charger if you buy the front half as a stand alone.
