universal o2 sensor wiring question

universal o2 sensor wiring question
I just got a replacement o2 sensor for the one I stripped trying to remove. My question is concerning the two white wires. I know these are both heater wires but am unsure if it makes a difference which one it is spliced to? or as long a the sensor whites are spliced to the harness whites i will be ok? Thanks!
