Car Fumes Smell Horible! Is This Normal?
Hey, So some of you know I drive a 2003.5 EM Sedan and I can be a noob at things
but anyways on to my question...so I had my car parked on my driveway rear in (Backwards) and I was to lazy to turn it around before i put it in the garage and after I turned it off oh gosh my garage smelled sooo bad of gas and fumes that i had to open both garage doors for like 25 mins to air out...I have noticed my car is pretty smelly before but its never been a problem but this is just crazy is it normal that my car smells like a deisel truck? I fill it up with premuim chevron gas so it couldnt be bad gas...help a noob out

Really Need This Answered I'm Goin In For An Oil Change In 500 Miles So I Wanna Get This Answered Before That So I Can Let Them Know If This Isn't Normal....The Car Is Stock Btw
^Valve Covers Changed Due To Oil Pooling In There, I Actually Think This Smell Started After The Stealership Changed My Valve Covers And Some Gasket They Said Was Leaking...Hmmm Weird...Im Still Under Warenty Till 2013 Extended Warenty FTW I Think Ill Let Them Know About This Smell When I Bring It In In 500 Miles

It's normal. Many late model cars run very rich prior to cat converter light off. My wife's Subaru Legacy will just about drop me in the garage if I start it and let it idle in the garage for 10 seconds prior to pulling out.
Oil isn't going to cause the smell. You're smelling raw gasoline vapor.
