Well i just put in the Apexi drop in filter.. doesnt really have a different sound, i wasnt really expecting anything though.
My old one was FILTER, i had bugs on it, it was like pitch black and i had moths inside the box haha.
I havent drove around yet but im sure its better than my old filter

Later on, ill probally try the Apexi cone filter with the heatshield

Is there a significant difference in sound between the apexi drop in and oem filter?

Anything feels better than a dirty paper filter. Once a paper panel filter gets clogged, the flow drops dramatically. But the filtration doesn't.

Yup came w/maf adapter, installed the other day. U Can mos def feel the difference and the Car sounds real nice too.. Now all I gotta do is make a heat shield...I did a search on heat shield only, some guy left a email link to jwt and said he emailed them and asked, and got it for 30. So I went and email them, they email me back and tell me it's $43 for the shield and $36.84 to ship it. They better massage my ***** too for that much....
