Motordyne Shockwave TDX or Fast Intensions Intimidator
I've been stuck deciding whether to go with the Fast Intensions Intimidator or Motordyne's Shockwave TDX to compliment my newly acquired Motordyne ART pipes.
I've done research on both exhausts and they seem to be on par with one another. Now i'm looking for some informative feedback/advice.

^ Ya i saw that ART + Shockwave video you made. Defiantly the most convincing exhaust related video I've seen youtube. Pushes me toward the MD set up. How are the gains. 290hp is pretty impressive.

well. since u have MD ART pipes.. i would lean towards getting the MD exhaust.. they are meant to compliment each other.. plus.. if you wanted to add a cat to the XYZ, you have the option...
As an owner of a motordyne xyz and vq exhaust I would back motordyne all the way! Plus I'm getting the art pipes for my birthday, but that's not till november

only the DUAL setup can have the accessory parts.
Haha Alf I do not believe Tony/MotorDyne makes the Shockwave Dual anymore.
I think he's just sticking with the TDX design.
So no accessorys for Shockwaves anymore!

Looks like my Dual is super Rare now!
ART Pipes + Shockwave w/ HFC FTW!

I'm rockin the Motordyne resonated XYZ and resonated VQ exhaust for the sedan. Its by far the best setup I've had. Sounds similar to the HKS + coupe middy that I had but much better performance. Plus, you can change out accessories to modify the sound when/if you get bored.

Hmm.
the "TDX" is a not "True Dual" like the HKS.
Due to the TDX design where the resonator/muffler is, you cant put a HFC, Straight Pipe, Resonator. right after the Y Pipe is where the accessory should go.

I see the difference. I thought TDX meant "T"rue "D"ual "X" pipe.. Actually .. It does .. Lol. But I see what u mean about the differences in exhausts. The dual has the muffler way after the "y" pipe allowing for the attachments, where as the tdx has the muffler butted up right to the "y" pipe not allowing this. Why doesn't Motordyne offer the dual with attachments any longer.? What are the advantages of the tdx .? I know the disadvantages... I'm confused why they would discontinue such a versatile system. To me, it's what set apart their exhausts from all the other manufacturers.
