^ true, but I don't think it really matters. The air isn't being deprived in the intake or throttle body, it's actually abundant, hence why our cars so so dirty when you get on them. It's almost like suckin' some boost.

What's deprived of air is the intake manifold, which is why the plenum spacer and upper plenum mods benefit the car so much. It has no problem getting air into the upper plenum, it's forcing it down and into the manifold.

I'm not sure. I ran into some fanboy on my350z who called ME a noob for telling him the OE intake was the best. Idiots...

well noise = power right? lol

that's quite disappointing, i ran with the bandwagon when import tuner gained 10 hp from a AEM cold air intake.

yea good point,

I think id like to see which intake is best after clearing the chock point, the manifold.

I think like 90% of us have manifold spaces and mrev2 or mrev+....

Im starting to think that i can make more power with the velocity vss, or the custom one this guy is making on my350z.

All of these parts are so dependent on each other it is crazy, as z1 auto had said on my350z.

Their 320 whp na uses the cosworth manifold and they feel it was the best for them... and they used to have mrev2 and space IIRC

then you got Gabe that lost power with the cosworth on his NA build.

Then you got sg making 348 whp na on their 3.5 liter stock internals.( more than gabes stroked 4.15) with their im and ridiculous cams.
