The stock intake box and intake tube have been put on a flow bench. The setup can move than air to support a much larger engine. The intake manifold really isn't that much of choking point seeing that at certain rpms it can achive 100%+ volumetric efficency. For a rather simple V6 motor, the intake manifold is pretty trick.

I have a feeling there is either NO results to speak of, or the results are so deceiving that the OP is taking his time to share to build up anticipation

Either way I can guarantee no one here will see "Gained 10hp/15tq from xxx CAI"

z1 uses cosworth on their 320 whp engine, and those guys been in the game for a long time, so I trust there were some advantages on that over mrev2+ spacer.

I guess it depends on your mods, maybe a fully built NA engine will have gains with the Cosworth. From what I understand the Cosworth loses hp on NA engines.

If I built a high rev, heavy breathing NA VQ, there's no doubt I too would go with the Cosworth unit. It is better than stock, but the engine has to be able to use it first. The thing is so damn sexy too. Hell, if I had a 6MT with cams, I'd have the Cosworth manifold.

Take a look at that, Gabe lost power with that thing, and hes got a 4.15 liter monster.
I am personally thinking about going the ssv velocity, It has been proven to make power on fully bolted on cars, which makes me believe I can make power with that on my built set up.....

The only data missing is it was never tested against a mrev2/spacer.

That one looks like the kinetix but has some improvements over it, but there is nothing proven yet.

Here is a dyno that shows a car makes power with the ssv velocity

Thank You Rob for taking the time to produce such an organized dyno comparison, this will be an asset to many members for years to come.

Regardless of whether crazy discoveries were made or not, (and the members who have looked into this issue were def. not expecting drastic results), we appreciate you going the distance.
