ART pipes are the s***. Grow a pair, the fumes really arnt that bad. Do realize you are buying a test pipe, not a HFC. If you are already worried about the smell, do your self a favor and buy Fast Intensions/Berk HFC's.

If you rather have more power and smell a little, go with the ART pipes.

Lol...

OP, you can also run the ART pipes with the Motordyne XYZ pipe w/ a Cat module, so you don't get the smell...

I actually drove around with the ART pipes alone, the smell wasn't to bad...I only added the XYZ pipe w/ cat module because I live in Socal and cops may be sensitive to the smell since they're strict about emissions around here...

You should see if anybody in your area are running the ART pipes and take a smell and see if it will bother you.

I love mine for what its worth.

It varies with people. Some can't stand the the smell, others like me notice it, but don't mind it, and others dont even notice it. As the driver, the only time you can smell it is when you come to a stop and the fumes catch up to you, otherwise you never smell it. The people behind you though.....is a different story.

Old thread, I know, but I have a very relevant question. I also don't want fumes but I HAVE to have the ART pipes. So, I'm wanting to get the TDX2 with ART pipes. If I got the HFC option on the XYZ pipe, would that help with fumes? Would it help just a little or a lot?? Thanks!

Honestly, if youve ever been around go-karts, thats the best way to describe it. Its noticible only at a stop. Other than that, only the people behind you will smell it. I love my art pipes. Best mod, hands down!

LOL

Smell isn't really all that bad IMO

When they are new it seems to be a little worse, probably just the combination of the pipes getting used to the heat cycles.
