It depends on where your A/F ratio is starting from.

OP, you can also run the ART pipes with the Motordyne XYZ pipe w/ a Cat module, so you don't get the smell...

I actually drove around with the ART pipes alone, the smell wasn't to bad...I only added the XYZ pipe w/ cat module because I live in Socal and cops may be sensitive to the smell since they're strict about emissions around here...
To reduce smell...
Could I add cat modules in place of the two resonators on my Gemini shown here:

How would it effect performance of the ARTS in this location though?

I would add the cats at the inlet of the resonators. Keep the resonators in!

Adding cats that far back would probably drop ~4HP.

Yes I'm reviving an old thread but I've had my tdx v2 and ART pipes on for almost a month now and I know the smell of the art pipes but occasionally I smell a hint of oil. I checked my oil and there seems to be no sign of consumption. Is this Normal or could I have a problem on my hands? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
People are making the issue out to sound worse than it is. Nothing like the motors of old, I actually like the smell.

Hmm so what do you guys think is the best way to get rid of some of the smell. Cause I live in Cali and cops here will get you in a heartbeat for that stuff. Would a tune change the intensity of the smell at all? For example if I ran a HKS exhaust with the art pipes that would make the fume smell a lot worse I'm assuming?
