HR Y-pipe on 06 g35 coupe
hmmmm i have megan test pipes and top speed exhaust but will changing the y-pipe really make a difference?? and what about an after market y-pipe?? wouldnt those be even less restrictive that the hr's?

I had this on my car for about a year before going to HKS Rep + Magnaflow X-pipe. I'd say that it makes the sound maybe 10% louder, not very noticable at all. Perhaps slightly deeper, but it smooths out the throttle tip ip a bit. Not a bad mod, but not worth more than 100 dollars to me if you're buying it for sound. My entire exhaust with the new xpipe + welding and bending for fitment, cost less than 500 and gives substantially more power than just a y-pipe. Also, sounds great as well. :]

Y’all I know I prolly sound dumb but can a scraped y-pipe be the cause to your car not running. I have an 06 g35 coupe that gave in on me but still started it just makes a weird bubbly sound and the whole car kinda shakes but it runs... barely. Pls get back to me it’ll be very much appreciated 🙏

Probably not unless it's pinched off and restricting airflow BADLY.
Start by pulling and inspecting your spark plugs, pretty good chance you'll find the culprit while doing so.
