Rough Starting After Wolf Intake Install

2004 Auto G35
Coincidental or not....A few weeks after I installed my Jim Wolf intake system and it got really cold out my car has been starting rough. Here are my 2 issues:

Turn Key
Engine Starts right up at 2K rpm
Rpm Immediately then drops to .25-.5K rpm - almost stalls
Then increases rpm and seems fine

or

Turn Key
Engine Starts right up at 2K rpm
Rpm Immediately then drops to .25-.5K rpm
THEN STALLS

This only happens After the car has been sitting for a while with cold engine.
It stalls out even more when I am parked on a hill for a while and start it on an incline with a cold engine.

Please help. I ordered a mass air flow sensor last week but am having second thoughts if that it the issue.
Help!

Your throttle body is dirty. Also it would help to clean your MAF with some cleaner since the popcharger is oiled. You probably just have some pulled in on it.

03' track... Soon to be race car.
Exclamation

Be very very careful when you clean them.....its really easy to mess both of those parts up, and they are both expensive

Took my G to the dealership for some professional advice. They ran a test on the MAF and seemed to read fine. Ran a second test on the throttle body and BINGO....bad readings. $609.00 later and a new throttle body....car runs great!

Why did you do that? No, I'm not talking about wasting your money on a poop charger, but the dealership? Damn, that was not the best choice. You could've swapped it out yourself. I doubt it needed to be replaced anyway.

Honestly I had the same issue a while back and all it was is that I forgot to plug in the MAF sensor.

That sucks. For $195 and an allen wrench you could have bought a new TB and had it changed out in 30 minutes.

And it still would have run great............
