Also, the G airbox also has an extra intake inlet which effectively doubles the inlet size compared to the Z's airbox. There's no shortage of air being provided to either box. The sole reason for the Z's design is to create a decent amount of induction noise.

Stillens CAI is probably the only intake that isn't bothered by heat and then there's the advantage of having that giant K&N filter.

What makes the Fujita so special? It's just another how air intake like all the others that fail to perform on the G/Z
Jeff actually I'm only influenced by what I use and like along with the results. I run both the Stillen CAI/Z-Tube intake and then switch to my Fujita for meets cause it's extreemly beautiful....

Is the K&N air filter better to run along with the ztube rather than leaving the stock paper filter in? Im buying a ztube shortly and trying to figure out what goes best with it.

Having used twin K&N filters on my last '92 300ZXTT with 500 rwhp until I sold in in '2K4 those filters only need cleaning every 5K miles which to me was every second oil change. Following the instructions they get cleaned/dried out/oiled in an hour.
