Intake? legit?

When I got my 05' G35, I noticed this isn't normal.. Is it legit? gives performance? I have a VQ35DE motor if ya'll was wondering.

Thats a JWT Popcharger, one of the more popular intake's available.

There's no difference in engine from the sports package you are reffering too.

By the way, you also have a oem z tube

you are off to a great start for modding. Good thing the owner before you already did it. The intake tube (Z-tube) and filter (JWT Popcharger) are both good pieces that a lot of people on here use or want and go for well over $100+ combined.

really? well, I bought it used from the dealership..

Oh wow nice.. this is a short ram, correct? I haven't seen a cold air yet, well on a g35.

IMO the stock airbox makes better power than a pop charger especially when heat soak kicks in. It also lets dirt/grime in -- my z-tube and MAF was caked with grime after a couple years. Unless all I cared about is sound/looks, I'd never buy a pop charger again.
