03 G35 sedan Megan racing catback

Hi guys, I just purchased a Megan racing catback exhaust system to which I did a little more research and realized they had bracket problems on the 03. I'm just wondering if anybody has modified this exhaust to fit the 03 Sedan if so how you did, pictures or information would be greatly appreciated.

You can buy the Bracket from the dealer for 05 sedan and install it on your car if the muffler has a single hanger.

Ah makes perfect sense, I didn't even think about that, I'll have to check out my dealer here and see how many weeks it will take to get in as they are next to useless. I assume the bracket just unbolts and bolts in?

Its a direct bolt on they are all the same thing, just the brackets are different in terms of 03/04 having two hangers and 05 has 1.

Would anybody happen to have the part number for the bracket here as my local parts department can't seem to locate it.

Actually upon further inspection, that looks like the bracket I have on there. I need one with just one off the side I believe according to this document http://www.meganracing.com/tech/upda...%20%28OE-RS%29 any input on whether this is the correct piece or not would be greatly appreciated.

That's the right bracket, when you install it, it should bolt right up to the muffler. Just don't throw away your 03 one so you can put back your original muffler later on when/if you sell the car. I do see what you mean. Can you find a picture of the 05/06 ?

Not yet I can't I've been hunting around to no avail. If I can find a picture or a part number I'm pretty sure I'll be in busy but can't seem to find anything useful.

Where did you buy yours? I've ordered mine a long time ago and they are still in back order. Do you have the AWD? I was just wondering if there were any issues with the fit. I've been told that this should fit the AWD no problem.

Sorry, I bought mind from a member on here. No I don't have the AWD, I don't think there will be fitment issues but maybe someone on here has one on theirs. I ended up having to fabricate a bracket as I bought the one for an 05 and the holes were nowhere near lining up and the above linked one is to convert back to an 03 style exhaust. Hope this helps you.
