How to tell if I have a Z tube

I'm going back to my stock intake. Well after doing research on here it looks like I have a Z tube. I defiantly have a k&n drop filter (name on the side haha). But I can't find anything on the rubber tube that says well anything. So any easy way to tell? It looks just like the pics in the fs portion of the forum so I'm assuming yes.

Also a tad embarrassing as I do not have the car with me. Is the install hard? I don't remember. I'm assuming again it's pretty basic

Thanks!

First thanks for the pics. I thought it was a Z tube.

Damn I'm 19... Guess I'll ether have to do it my self or just keep my CAI till I find my future wife... (rolls eyes)

I was asking because the weather here is 110 almost daily. And I really don't wanna be out side longer than I have to. No need to be a smartass

lulz...bro throw on a light shirt and some shorts and get out there right now. it is 6:30pm here in dallas and not really bad weather. You will sweat a little and maybe bust up your knuckles but man it is all worth it. Seriously cake to do and just take your time. I would rather sweat and bust up my knuckles than acquire a wife and all the drama that comes with it ...also if I am not a smart *** I have no reason to post

Come up to DFW with a tons of parts and I have a buddy of mind ACIDJAKE (ADMIN on my350z) who can throw on pretty much any part for a very very fair price . If it is something I can help you with I would be more than glad to for some beer $$$. PM me when you come up to DFW and you can meet up with some local members and see their rides.

It takes less than 5 minutes to install if you know what you're doing, it might take 15 minutes if you don't. All you need are a socket wrench and 8mm/10mm sockets to do the install.

One more thing on the lowest part of the stOck intake. The part that separates, there is a foam ring well that ring is diteriorating. Is this important?
