Yeah, cats, or lack thereof don't typically create drone, be careful with that.

Hey guys one of my x02 muffler weld got loose inside the muffler and now it's making a rattle noise . Today I took it to a shop and they told me the muffler is gone and it can't be fixed. They told me the only way to fix it it's to replace it with 2 magnaflow muffler and weld the tips from the old x02 muffler and they quote $250 to do that . Has anyone done that to their hks replica ? Does the price sound fair ? Also I anyone has a video with magnaflow muffler on their x02 please post it I wana hear what it sounds like . Thanks Alex .

Yep I know but it will probably break again after one year so I'm looking for alternatives.

I had mine on my car for what must've been like 4+ years without a single problem. Now it's on a friend's car with no problems still.

I think the shop is trying to squeeze you for money. Go to another shop and get an opinion about your weld issue but i dont think your "muffler" is gone because of it.
