I have a feeling aggressive cams will pair well with these headers.
Mine are stepped the non-stepped set they are making are for me to test out when ever they are done with them.

I upgraded my exhaust to 2.5in piping up from the 2.36in before now using a G37 factory option muffler (IPL muffler).

Plan to go to RT tuning next week for a couple of pulls to see if my exhaust change made a difference before the non stepped headers arrive.

The reason I changed my exhaust is the test SG did with their headers on pg 5.

My dyno looks similar to the 1st one with the inefficent 2.5in dual exhaust and coast fab headers.

dsskyline, good luck on that exhaust change. wishing the best for you. What Y pipe did you go for? One funny fact i just realized is that everyone (SGM's test car, gabe3d, prgdriver, kacz07, 512_z) with SGM or PPE on the DE/HR are running MD's XYZ including you now, what a coincidence.

I noticed that also and thought about getting another one, but still no y-pipe for me custom 2.5in dual with x pipe to the IPL muffler.

Also every exhaust was 2.5 or higher I'm hoping sasha was correct that 2.5 dual would of made more with a tuned x-pipe.

The dyno 512z did was with the stock HR pipe he had very little lowend loss compared to me.

I can handle a 3-5hp/tq loss down low not 15-20hp/tq.

My new exhaust with a IPL muffler

Nice exhaust. Any reason why you stuck with using cats? Smog test?

A turn of events may be coming my way, for the better, but may delay my install of the headers since I want to do everything at once. By this weekend I may secure myself a spare set of heads. If I get them I'm gonna completely rebuild them with over sized valves + port work. The goal will be to try to break through the 300whp mark!

Look at the pic again, those are cats half way down the exhaust. That's what I was referring to.

They're hushpower mufflers I believe, not cats.

Correct they are flat mufflers made by hushpower for clearance. I haven't had cats on my car since 06.
