Redesigned headers should be here next week. 1 3/4 primaries no step with a tapered transition at collector merge.
Basically they will be similar to FI longtubes, but with a SG like collector.
If this doesn't show better results I'm going back to shorty headers and ARTs. I will keep you guys posted on the outcome.
I'll take pics when u I receive them.

Ha ha I wish I would definitely be 12's NA and 11's on spray if not for my lowend issue. Hopefully these new headers will restore it.
How is the car?

great now, finally figured out what that noise was. the torque converter bolts were coming loose and that was causing the rattling, a little scary. but anyway, need to fix a leak or two and then install a cutout and hook nit back up and ill be ready to tune the 150shot
I have installed my share of headers and I can tell you that headers are a difficult but fun task to take on but longtube headers are 90 times eaiser to install than shorties....once you have installed a few sets it is pretty easy.
i always wanted to put headers on my car so i can install stage 3 from my Cobb accessport. but i don't want to order them and let them set in my garage. i have a lift and most the tools. do i have to do anything with the engine like moving it down or up?!..

when mine was installed they didnt have to jack up the engine. Just had to remove my intake, y-pipe and disconnect the steering linkage to install on the drivers side.

Thanks hopefully I will get my lowend back with these. If not back to shorties and ART pipes.
New redesigned headers arrive tomorrow and go in on monday. I'm hitting the track tomorrow with my current set-up and then will hit the track again next week with the new headers.
What's different
1 3/4 primaries no step to 1 7/8 (my old headers were 1 3/4 shortys)
Tapered at merge similar to SG and their 370z headers.
new headers

old headers (on car now)
