I'm also still on stock cams, the Tomei 272s will have to wait and collect dust for a bit. I decided I'm going to be replacing my motor. My current one suffers from too much oil consumption, and I'd like to have a stronger bottom end so I can rev to 8k rpm.
Nice!!

Finally warmed up to install. You probably won't notice everyday driving and since you are 6mt you can rev/launch higher if you do have a lowend drop.

Only a dyno will show if you do or not. Are you going to the same shop that did your original tune?

What were your numbers before?

I think it's been proven on mine and SD's car we both have the mildest JWT cams his is 256 and mine is 260 duration we both have DLC coated buckets.

On my way to the shop with the headers.

Hey Dsskyline
I've been following your posts for a while, And they've been very helpful.. Thanks to your posts and others on the forums here I have finally decided what parts to use for my na build. I was already set on the S1 cams and am now going to do the hr cam buckets with them. Looks like they have to take the engine apart to actually see what sizes to order, so my car Will be down for about a week, but for 10-15 hp $700 is def worth it!
I'm also getting one of the last remaining sets of Momentum headers and the HKS dual exhaust at the same time. As well as a custom carbon fibre Driveshaft.
I'm hoping to keep my low-end power And make an all around faster car. I can't wait to see how my 07' at coupe responds to all this stuff at once!

Last Dyno was 204 hp on a mustang ego breaker with md art pipes and a uprev reflash on 94 octane.

Thanks again for all the good info. you have a sweet ride!

Derick I read your whole thread, I just ordered Brain Crower (265/265) cams and these PPE headers, pretty cool someone I know helped design them!!!
I need to look into the HR valve lifters you guys were talking about
some of my questions were answered about the 02 sensor as far as the included extensions but what do I need to do with the ones that were in the cats???

sooo looking forward to hearing these on my FI exhaust cam'd out

i know this is an older thread but I was wondering how do the PPE long tube headers compare to the ART test pipes with stock headers and motor dyne full exhaust.

Im thinking to upgrade the cams and either run Nismo Headers vs. PPE long tube headers with the exhaust what do you guys think?

best headers out there..... pair them with aftermarket cams and you will see HUGE gains with a tune... i mean upwards of 40whp
