If it came off of an 08 Z, I believe all 07+ Z's come with the HR motor. So what you have in hand should an HR pipe.

Yup if it an 07-08 350z its an hr y pipe, and can you sand off the rust and coat it with some paint?

Pretty solid gains for a just being a slightly different OEM y-pipe on the cheap.

Really, if it's only surface rust, sand it to get rid then paint to protect and you should be good.

the internal diameter is slightly bigger than the DE Y-pipe, pretty good upgrade on a budget.

I wouldn't worry about the rust... its exhaust. no big deal

I have an 06 sedan 6MT. Will any HR y-pipe be plug and play or are some modifications necessary?
