exhaust, leak?

so I bought my g a little while ago and it has been giving more and more of a fuel smell when I turn on the a/c or heat in the last few weeks, I've never had to mess with the exhaust before except installing a new one and a few minor things, any hints where o start or what I should look for? any advice would be greatly appreciated

Sounds more like a cabin filter issue.

If you're smelling fuel (gasoline) you may have a leak which needs to be addressed quickly before your G catches on fire. If what you're smelling is exhaust only way to find the leak is on a rack....maybe at a muffler shop. Are you running test pipes?

it's an 03 with 130k on the body, and yes I have test pipes on there, my parents old ford exploder used to have a bunch of exhaust problems and I swear this smells exactly the same and it goes away when I'm driving unless I rev it at a stop light
