Oem airbox or 350z airbox?

Which one is better I just picked up one of each and I can't decide which one is better. I did a lot of research but couldn't really find anything definitive. If I use the 350z box I'll cut a hole in the ratiator support for better air flow. If I use the g box I'll pipe in cooler air through the lower grill into the bottom hole where the resonator is located. Which one should I do?

You can't fit the 350z airbox into the G35. But if you find a rev-up 350z airbox, you can remove the velocity stack and swap them into your G35 airbox and then you have the rev-up airbox.

If you want to route more air into your box, just modify your oem unit

I was hoping someone that actually knew what they were talking about would chime in...so which ones better? I'm leaning towards doing the g box with a cold air mod because it has the powerduct and the side duct thing plus the cold air mod to the bottom hole. Whereas the z box only has the one hole which I would do what you've done and drill a hole in the radiator support and do the funnel and tube mod. I just don't know which one would flow better

It drops right into a coupe or sedan. There are two posts on the bottom of the box that plug right into the holes on the frame rail. The upper mounting hole to bolt the box the the top side of the fender does not reach but the box is secure enough without it.

^ through my custom duct (where air ACTUALLY gets into the box, as opposed to the OEM design)
