? why does everyone pay so much for an intake?

Fuel Rail is definetly limiting factor there...


For 30k that's not a great build.... Sounds more like you got ripped off.

This is Doug Mitchel's SR build and it was NO WHERE near 30k and he's running a Dry Sump
