injen cai + tune?
i just got an injen cold air intake i was wondering if it was necessary to tune my car or can i just run with with just the cold air? someone told me after i get a cai you have to because the computer cant register the amount of new air coming in ? just want to know so i can start saving if i need to lol

A tune will make a pretty big difference, just syncing the electronic throttle and smoothing out the fuel maps gives you a good bump in performance. I wouldn't recommend a full dyno tune if you think you'll end up doing some more mods in the future... But if you go the route where you buy the.cable and reflash it yourself then dial it in remotely with datalogs then you can just adjust it as you go and have a tuned car the whole time. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions on how it works

Our cars have "learning" ecu's right? I cant remember but I think back in the day when I had just the injen CAI i just disconnected the negative terminal and pressed the brake pedal till there was no movement left and then re-attached the neg. terminal and started it up and that was supposed to do something like make the ECU re-learn my driving habits with the added mod?
