Intake & Exhaust Questions and info regarding various aftermatket exhaust systems for the G35 (Headers,Y-Pipes, and Cat-Back Systems)

Does It matter which Y-pipe you use????

Does It matter which Y-pipe you use????

I know that there are many different brand name y-pipes...Does anyone know if it matters which one you use? Do y-pipes perform similarly no matter which brand or do some brands perform better than others? Also, does it make a difference which exhaust you are using?

Their are a lot of copies of the Fuji out their, not the best design however. Look into the Tanabe or the Jic design. You'll still have a issue regarding how they use a 3" output and your oem exhaust is 2.5".

will the ones for the 350Z/G35c fit on the sedan as a direct bolt on?

Yes, Y-pipe's are the same between all the cars. Down stream, the Z oem mid pipe is shorter however.
