If your thinking of adding these to your stock exhaust then NO... Don't do it... It'll sound bad and the EXTRA performance will not be worth it.... I had test pipes on an aftermarket Y pipe with a 350z mid pipe and with the test pipes it sounded like ****.... Not so bad with my Berk HFCs but was still raspy and not what I liked... I would seriously recommend HFCs over test pipes, especially if your running a stock exhaust...

I just want an more aggressive sound to my car it sounds good just want it to be a bit more loud. Are HFCs good for that

I'd check youtube Van35. There is an endless amount of videos on there. You could also decide what you'd like.

i ran stillen HFC on stock exhaust and it made is louder. but had a little rasp around 3 K RPM. once you went past 3500 RPM it sounds fine.

Two things wrong with test pipes, (1) your f*ucking up the air we breathe! (2) it will make your OE exhaust sound terrible! Better option, Fast Intention HFCs and a complete aftermarket exhaust...Gary

I did them along with the Y pipe. Sounds great but the problem I have is since the Megan TP have a flex on it and the weight of the exhaust makes it hang very low. I can hear the exhaust scrapping out my driveway.
