i just ordered an invidia exhaust for the 350z, so what would i need to make it fit?

would the 6" ext. pipe from performance nissan work? or would i need a different size?

do you think i muffler shop can make one for cheaper which is just a bolt-on piece?

Without seeing it it is tought to say, but the 6" extension should work if both pipes are of the same diameter. The extension if for the Nismo which probably uses smaller diameter piping. You are probably better off taking the exhaust down to the install shop, have them look under the car and at the new exhaust and then they can determine that. If need be they can make an extensiion piece for probably the same cost or less then the one sold. Or, you can buy the extension piece knowing that you may have to return it (check return policy of the place you buy it from first). If the pice will work, have the shop use that to save time. I think if you do your homework, you should be able to find the diameter of the Nismo exhaust and the diameter of the Invidia you bought.
