HR Y-pipe Vibration

For all of the members here who have installed the HR Y Pipe, did you notice any vibration on the hwy? Over 70mph, 80mph (passing speed since out local speed limit is pretty high) is when I feel it the most. Never felt any vibration prior to the install. I have an 03 G35 Sedan 5AT running an 07 G35 Sedan HR Y Pipe with both hockey pucks on the sides. If it's suppose to reduce noise and vibration then someone messed up somewhere. I appreciate any direction on this.

I never noticed any, and I can't think of a reason why it would. There's a little bit of play in the bolt holes where the Y connects to the cats (a lot of play if you have test pipes), so maybe the alignment is off and it's stressing one of the flex pipes or something?

I'm thinking it's a coincidence that the vibration showed up after the Y pipe install - have you done any other work in the last few weeks?

Located it. So prior to the HR Y Pipe install, I was running the DIY modded ram air setup using conduit pvc that I found on here. At hwy speed I believe the pvc pipe was vibrating in the air box and flashing attachment in the bumper because once I removed all of it, I just had the occasional hum from the exhaust. The y pipe definitely gives a different exhaust note..at least with my modded megan oe-rs catback.

Nice, good find! I loved having the HR y and coupe mid on my sedan. Quiet at normal speeds but with that low rpm VQ burble. I lost that sound when I got ART pipes and I'm still trying to find it again, but the power gains were too good to go back.

Appreciate it. I love it. I had to stand behind the muffler to do some troubleshooting and make sure what I am hearing is accurate. Definitely idles different and that's with silencers in the muffler.
