Expected gains from these specific parts?

I have a 2004 G35 stock but I have a little list of parts I want to put on the car. I was hoping maybe someone could give me an estimate on what gains i might make.

Heres the list
Starting with the filter and working my way up the intake

1. StIllen Hi-flow air intake kit (filter and box only)

2. Mishimoto air intake hose

3. Designed chaos throttle body spacer

4. Plenum spacer (either 5/16" or 1/2" not sure yet)

5. Mrev 2

That's all i plan on getting for now hoping to get an estimate on what people think if its going to make a difference or not. Thanks

1. 5whp gain
2. probably the same
3. zero whp gain
4. 15 whp gain midrange with the non-revup engine, no gain with the revup engine.
5. If you have a regular non-revup DE engine 5whp. If you have the revup engine AND include the plenum spacer 15 whp.

2004 does not have the rev-up as an option. You have the regular DE.

Your usual bolt-on performance getters are plenum spacer (15whp) , high flow cats and dual exhaust (15 whp), UpRev tune (15 whp), then transgo shift kit if 5AT, then 3.5 VLSD diff if 5AT.

You can expect some gains at the top end but MOST of the gains to be made are in the middle of the powerband so don't just look at peak numbers, they don't tell the whole picture.

Should I buy the uprev from the actual uprev site or can I send my ECU in to Z1 motor sports for less than half as much and it will be just as good?

Don't go through Uprev direct, their remote tuning support is terrible. (2 weeks to even get a response...) If you send in your ECU and just have it flashed you're not getting a custom tune, and its not "less than half" price. Plus the downtime of shipping it back n forth.. then what if it gets lost or damaged in shipping..

Is this better then a plenum spacer?

Does anyone know if this would be better then a plenum spacer and if so how much better? Is it worth buying?

It's not better, the Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer has a long history of being the best option and has TONS of dyno runs on hundreds (or thousands) of G35/350Z to prove it.

If it's a RWD and not an X model then you should consider swapping in the 6MT rear VLSD differential, it has 3.5 gears instead of the 3.3 ones that comes on the 5AT. You can usually find them for $500 or so and it will be a difference you notice. Essentially it's the same as adding about 15 whp. Keep in mind it will raise your highway rpm which may be an issue.

Some folks go pretty extreme and take the 3.7 gear differential from the G37 and use it. Pretty substantial increase in highway cruising rpm but the car will feel MUCH faster compared to the 3.3 diff.

A TransGo shift kit brings that whole setup together.

I do a lot of highway driving. But having that extra speed would be awesome. Does anyone know what the rpm would be with the 3.5 at 80 that my average speed on the highway. I mean im at 3000 rpm right now at 80 mph so I would hope its not to much higher.

I know with a 6 speed manual in 6th gear and the 3.54 rear end, I'm at 2500 rpm at 70 mph. Not sure how 6th gear compares to the 5th gear in the automatic other than both are overdrive.
