Stillen vs. HKS Hi-Power

I want everyone's feedback on the Stillen exahust vs. the HKS Dual Hi-Power Ti Exhaust cat-back systems. These two are comparable in price and are the two I'm considering the most.

What are differences in sound and install? I don't want something that drowns out the cabin at freeway crusing speeds.

Thoughts?

I have the HKS Hi exhaust now for about three weeks, the sound doesn't drown out the cabin under normal driving conditions but after 3500 rpm you can really hear it come alive. I have not heard the Stillen in person but rumors has it that it's actually much lounder than the HKS. As far as install goes, their both direct bolt-on and should take the same amt of time of install on both system. Good Luck.

Between the 2 choices, you will have no droning with the HKS. Ive read previous post, there's some droning with STillen, and some decided to remove or sell them because of being to loud. Always best to hear both exhaust personally before making choice.

Also, sorry I forgot to mention.... How do either of these exhausts do with their capabilities with a forced induction (TT) system? Are either of them large enough in diameter and airflow to be used later for such an application? Just trying to think ahead!

Both are true dual and should be sufficient for FI application. HKS piping is 2.25", Stillen is probably close or similar. However if your really looking ahead, your best bet is to wait for the APS exhaust, which has 2.5" piping, perfect for any TT kit. Invidia 200 exhaust did claim to have 2.5" piping, but was measured to be only 2".

Any knowledge as to when the APS exhaust is coming out and how much it's going to cost?

"Invidia 200 exhaust did claim to have 2.5" piping, but was measured to be only 2""

Correction: The Invidia specifications clearly call out the diameter as 50mm which works out to 1.97" - close enough to 2". The Injen is the same diameter. For an NA application 2" is ample. BTW, I have the Invidia dual system, and love it.

Its out for the Z, and APS is suppose to release a G version, the question is when. Price will be a litte more than the HKS/Stillen, my guess around $1600. Check how much the APS exhaust is for the Z, probably similar for G.
