NEW! Tanabe Touring Medallion Exhaust

Over this past weekend, I was fortunate enough to visit the Tanabe headquarters in Torrance, CA for fitment of a protoype Tanabe dual tip exhaust.

This exhaust is expected to be released in Summer of 2005. I don't have too many details at this point.

The exhaust is a Y-Pipe back exhaust, but you can mate it to Tanabe's newly released y-pipe.

The muffler and mid-pipe are made of SUS304 stainless steel.

The tips are dual walled (?) constructed.

Over a stock exhaust, the Touring Medallion will give you an increase of 7 peak HP.

More details will come as they become available.

Now on to the pics

Sound clips will be added by middle of next week.

I'll also include more details as they become available.

Thank you,

Vinh

Looks sweet. I love the double walled look. Much better then the coffee can look of single walled tips.

ryansg35 - you can visit their website at www.tanabe-usa.com for their address and other information.

carfanatic56 - price has not yet been determined. sound clip will be posted in a couple of days. i'm gonna hold on to Fuji exhaust for now.

moog - outer diameter of exhaust tips measure 4.5" (114 mm). Inner diameter is ~3.5" (89 mm).

hey fellas,

my camera crapped out on me so I won't be able to upload any sound clips anytime soon. I'm gonna try to get my friend's camera, but that won't be for another 2 weeks.

but I do have official piping diameter:

tips: 115 mm
piping: 70 mm

If you come to the meet on Saturday maybe someone can bring a camera.
