I was curious to know what fix G owners have done when replacing their cats with free flows or test pipes. I am specifically talking about 04 models and up, as they seem to have these issues with the CEL. I just ordered my Crawfords and I have a 04.5 GCoupe and I know I'll throw a CEL. Will a Technosquare ECU tune take care of this? if not, what are my options besides 02 Simulators, which look to be my resolution. Thanks!!!

UPC #'s 3749542009 and 3749542002 from AutoZone or Pep Boys.

You have to bore out the set that the O2 sensors plug into to a diameter of 1/2" so that they will fit inside.

Worked for me, but I'm not giving any guarantees!

Hmm, I have Crawfords (and other stuff, read my sig) and have not thrown a CEL. About the only thing I did do was when I had the front passenger seat out to put some dynamat on, I connected the battery to check the stereo wiring, and my airbag light came on. Easy fix, and nothing to do with the cats or the CEL...

Maybe you'll get lucky and not throw a CEL

I have the Crawfords, absolutly no CEL issues. Great fit, just make sure they're installed properly, keep the MAF sensor clean

Getting the cats tomorrow..but I had a quick question...if you drill out the inner part, how will the o2 sensor screw in?? the thing will be bald from drilling, right? Or, are you just drilling with 1/2" bit to make it a straight through design and the thread will still be on the o2 plug..

Don't know how to explain cause I am not mechanically inclined, but if I figurged out so can you. If you use the 1/2 inch drill bit it will not mess with the threads. There is something that looks like a washer in the middle. You need to drill that out. If you have a vice it will make life a whole easier.

The "wall" (1/4" hole) that you drill through is only roughly 1/8" thick. Once you get the parts you'll see that you're not touching the inner threads.
