For those with FI or those thinking of going FI what exhaust do you have and what size is the piping? I have heard that 3" is what should be used to have good air flow.

 

True. But, really, when talking FI the rule-of-thumb is that you should go with as large a diameter as your ears can take. Of course, space is also an issue to consider. That 3" really should be the minimum when talking about aftermarket, high-performance exhausts.

 

What aftermarket exhaust is running 3" currently or who's close?

 

While I'm not a big fan of the Stillen, if I was running FI I'd give it a long look. Not sure what the total size comes out to.

Should be plenty of suggestions in the FI forum.

 

Some people are using single canister exhausts like the JIC.
