Electronic Exaust cutout

hey i was wondering if anyone had put an electronic exaust cutout on their G. My friend had on on his car and i really realized the hp gains, you can open it up wen u want to and wen u dont want to hear it u could close it and go bac to sounding stock. i think that its kinda cool, i kno that its not gona give us gains down low but im pretty sure it will up top wen we have more air flowing into the engine (the whole backpressure issue). i was wondering what mods had to be done to the exaust? for those who dont know what it is check out http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/QTEC/
btw, how big are our downpipes?
and would i need 2?

I saw his thread a few days ago. I DLed his videos... INSANE! I didnt know this, but he goes to the same muffer shop I go to! I just love how they open up so smoothly. I think he mounted the switches under his hood though... have no idea why he would do that. I'd want it to be easilly accessable as possible from my driver seat! Open it up around 2 or 3 gear and let the car fly!!!!
