Borla Exhaust

Has anyone heard what a G35 coupe sounds like with the borla system on it? I replaced my Z06 with a borla and was happy with it...Just wondering what it might sound like on the G. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Taken with windows up, had to slow for traffic

Check my sig for other mods. Borla had a bit of drone at 70-80mph, not loud enough to bother me. The headers and cats seem to have eliminated it.

Thanks guys, that was what I was looking for. I had a Z06 that I put a Borla under and I woke the neighborhood every morning. I just didnt want to repeat that again. Judging from the clips it sounds like I will be going with Borla again.

I think you may like it. The borla true dual definately gives an overral deeper tone to the exhaust note. Its actually quieter than stock below 3k rpms. Add some high flow cats and the exhaust note gets even deeper (similiar to v8 camaro or mustang).

The only fault I find with the system is that it uses pipe clamps instead of flanges and it comes in allot of pieces. Make sure to buy some permatex sealant, squeeze the h-pipe section together as much as possible and torque down those clamps good.

I also had a Borla set-up on my last car and loved it!!! I'll probably get this again but I also did like the 5Zigen set-up. Anyone heard this on someones car? How does it compare to the Borla? I know sound clips can be deceiving.

I have the Borla system and love it. It sounds great with the Crawford Cats.

Can't wait to get headers!
