Injen or Stillen?

Which is the better CAI system? I will be purchasing my new 2004 6MT at the end of sept when it arrives at the dealer. CAI is my first upgrade, I was wondering which was better and easier to install.

Re: Injen or Stillen?

I wasn't totally convinced that the stillen would give me air as cold as a CAI that draw's exclusively from the fender well. So that's why I went with the Injen CAI. I like the power gains it gave me and I love the mean sound it gives the car. But, If you would like the stillen box instead, you really need to pair it with a 350Z intake duct. The G35 intake duct has a resonator built into it, that no doubt cost's flow, the same Z part has no resonator. One thing I'm inclinced to think, is that the voice of the Injen is much more aggresive than the stillen system. I could be wrong, but man I LOVE how my Injen sounds.

Their are no dyno comparo's, so NO one can tell you which one makes more power. They no doubt both add power, which one makes more, hasn't been proven. So which one is more powerfull will end up being who delivers the most convincing,.............OPINION.

Re: Injen or Stillen?

Thanks...I was thinking the INJEN would be the way to go. i wanted someone to reaffirm that for me. I realize that all this stuff is basically opinion, however, I do appreciate yours. I think the added sounds will be nice. I can't wait to get my car...the next few weeks are going to seem like years.

Re: Injen or Stillen?

Does anyone know if injen has cured the driveability issues with the 6mt (Sedan)?

Also, who has the best price on the Injen with quick shipping as well?

Re: Injen or Stillen?

Didn't have any problems with the INJEN on my way to Vegas last Weekend. Took it up to 120 couldn't go faster due to Traffic. But NO Stalling problems.....

Was the power increase noticeable? Also, how difficult was the install for you? I pretty inept with tools but can usually do simple bolt ons like this.
