Crawford Cats Install

Ok, I have read a hundred threads on this and everyone says it is an easy install (1hr for a qualified shop tops). I brought the car to 3 shops in the past two weeks (nissan dealer and two exhaust shops) and all 3 have said it will take around 3.5-4 hrs because of the difficulty getting at the cats.

Anyone else have this experience. I may try to find one more or do it myself - I don't have lifts.

Hmmm . . . I have not been under my car since my exhaust and sway bar install. However, if I can remember and picture everything correctly, I don't think it should take more than 1 hour per side including removal of the other related exhaust components. Shoot . . . I'm thinking 2 hours, if that, working from under a lift. Perhaps, I am all wet and wrong here.

It takes me around 2 hours to do it in my garage on jack stands. I'd certainly save quite a bit of time using a lift/hoist.

Tell them they have to be kidding you. Tell them 3.5 - 4 hours is how long it takes to install headers.
