Seibon Hood HELP (problem solved)
Allright guys, for last two hours i am trying to install my seibon Ts hood however the damn hood is not closing at all, is there any special way to put this thing, perhaps adjust the hinges? Please help me out here at this point i am totally frustrated

im waiting for bobshuai to chime in on this. i just PMed him..he deals with seibon hoods all the time..(great seller/great prices for seibon oem/ts/js hoods too)

okay you just need a ratchet to loosing the bolt on where factory's locking adivse is, then move the locking plate down a little bit then tighten it. then you are set, you don't need to touch your hinges. No need and don't mess with the hinges near the windsheild. you got problme then pm me.
air ratchet will be even more eiser otherwise muscle need it.

should be fine, try it. i hope that helps you. just hope isn't your plenum's issue. if is your plenum's issue then do the opposite, raise up the locking plate a bit until you can lock it then as long as you can lock your hood first then go buy a pair hood pins. keep me update.

I am very sure it's not the plenum, cause i have seen others with this same hood with plenum & didn't had any problem, plus i checked the clearence already & it's the stupid factory locking that causing all the drama....

This is my hood on my car, you can see that space is very tiny. I moved the locking plate down about 1/4" at the time until i am happy with the space.
