I got a ticket for having the overlays on my tail lights. I live in California and our laws are by far the most strict from what I've seen. I believe that by law, you are not able to modify the tail lights whatsoever.

I have mine smoked out both tail lights and head lights with the headlights custom cut to see the lights. You should be okay as long as its not crazy dark. Our leds are pretty bright so its okay.

I can get you overlays if you want let me know.

Bump for Bat. Andy is legit and his overlays are great and are the best you can get at the best prices you could wish for. Shoot him an email and check out his website
