Finally debadged
I finally debadged my G. I got it last year in June of 06 Its an '05 Ls Coupe 6mt. I left the Mt Fugi logo on the back just took off the letters and G35. I can't believe how much better it looks. I have never seen a G debadged in person only in pics. It looks so much cleaner and you don't realize til the letters are gone how cheap they look. I will never go back, I saved them just in case but I don't think I'll ever need em again.
Anyone whos been on the fence about doing this, I say do it now you'll love the look every time you open your trunk. Its so friggin easy also. A little piece of fishing line and you can take em off in 5 min. I was worried about fading and being able to see where the letters were. No prob though a little shot of Nxt wax after they were removed and it looks perfect. Sorry no pics my camera got dropped last week.

Personally, debadging make the car look cheap. Like, you are hiding the fact the car is a cheaper model or don't want folks to know what model it is. Every time I see one I still thinks it looks bad. I only thought people do it on Japanese cars but I've seen them on Benz and Bimmers, which all look bad. Just MHO.
Debadging..............
What took you so long? Debadging is the one mod that takes what...15 min
or so and makes the backside of your G look soooo much cleaner.....and NO
not cheap. Only thing I left on my lid was the Mt Fuji emblem which I like....
so see by debadging we're not hiding anything.

I'm in the process of deciding if I should debadge or not, there is only one other 350gt in my town (Christchurch, New Zealand), i kinda don't want people knowing what car it is then importing another one from japan. I'm also worried that someone will steal the skyline lettering to put on their R32-R34's.

thinking i might leave the 350gt badge on though
or maybe just take of the nissan badge first and see how it looks.

Maybe I'm ole skool but I like the badging and don't understand when people take it off. I can understand a little if you have an IS250 and you want people think it's a 350. There's a 100 hp difference. I sorta don't understand that either, who gives a crap. I definitely can't understand a G35 owner. The autos have 280 hp and the manuals have 298 I think. Both respectable. What's the deal? Looks cheap to me without it. People say it looks clean??? Looks like empty space to me.

I like it, I did it to mine like 3 months ago finally, I dont know what took me so long, I should have done it since day one. It looks so much cleaner by the back with nothing on it, completely smooth. Especially since mine is LR it blends in with the tail lights, all you see is red and two small white circles for reverse lights.
