I debadged my G35coupe today. I've sanded, primed and painted them black. my question is does anyone know where I can find the measurements so I can re-install them in the original position on the trunk. I've searched on here and looked in the 03-04 manual. I still cant find it. I figure after I cleaned all the glue off, there would be an outline I could use to install the emblems.

 

maybe theres a member with the original symbols that is willing to line up his car with yours.. side by side... it won't be perfect but close enough.. i can't think of anything else..

bottom of the letters are 2 inches above the bottom trunk line and 4 inches from each side edge...1 1/2 inches between letters...mt fuji bottom edge is 2 inches above the top of the letters...the middle point of mt fuji is centered between the middle "I" and "N" in infiniti...masking tape will be your best friend

no problem, not sure on the "g35"...i wasn't planning on putting it back on, so i didn't get a measurement prior to removal...looks more symmetric without it

 

I made a template of my trunk lip. I drew everything in the measurements you posted. 4" on each side was too much. I used 3 1/2" on each side. I still used 11/2" between the letters. I also used the measurements for the infiniti symbol. I've enclosed a pic of my template. I'm going to the dealership to get the measurements for the G35. thanks again for your help.
